Elisheva Danan

Elisheva Danan, MD, MPH is a general internist and health services researcher who works to identify, develop, and implement evidence-based practices for women’s primary and preventive healthcare in VA. Her current research focuses on developing and implementing trauma-sensitive, patient-centered primary and preventive healthcare practices for women who have experienced sexual assault. Her expertise includes women’s health, sexual trauma, cancer screening, smoking cessation, and sex and gender reporting in research. Dr. Danan co-directs CCDOR’s Advanced Fellowship in Health Services Research and serves as the Minneapolis Site Lead of the VA Women’s Health Practice Based Research Network.
