Allison Gustavson

Allison M. Gustavson, PT, DPT, PhD is a health services and rehabilitation researcher with interests and expertise in implementation science and learning health systems. Her vision is two-fold: 1) empower change and foster resilience in Veteran community members to support a nimble and rapidly responsive health care system that successfully engages and meets the changing needs of Veterans, healthcare, and communities over time and 2) empower social, environmental, and healthcare change across the lifespan to promote autonomy, independence, and fulfillment. Her specific research currently focuses on understanding and evaluating the Who, What, Where, and How to promote access to and high quality delivery of equitable, patient-centered home-based models of care following hospitalization.
