Anna Fleischman, BA, MSN Anna Fleischman is a first year VAQS research fellow at the Minneapolis VA Hospital, where she has eight years of prior experience as an Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care registered nurse. She is currently enrolled in the School of Nursing PhD program at the University of Minnesota and is in the early stages of the dissertation portion of the program. She plans to focus on advance care planning conversations prior to critical illness, and the barriers and facilitators to these discussions taking place amongst healthcare personnel, veterans, and their families. |

Jillian (Jill) Nelson, PhD Jill graduated from George Mason University with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical and research interests lie in eating disorders and co-occurring psychopathology, including PTSD, substance use, and NSSI. During fellowship, Jill wishes to expand her research training in treatment implementation and dissemination, program development, and healthcare improvement. She aims to focus on developing a multidisciplinary eating disorders program at the Minneapolis VA to provide education to medical providers and Veterans, and improve the assessment and treatment of Veterans with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. |

Lyndsay Thompson, DNP, RN, AGCNS-BC Lyndsay is a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her focus during her fellowship is engaging in quality improvement projects related to nursing care, implementing care delivery models, and quality metrics tracked within the VA system. One of her main projects currently is assisting in the implementation of a pressure injury prevention initiative for MVAHCS. |
