Noah Venables
Noah C. Venables, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with interests in understanding and curtailing addiction and suicidal behavior. With regards to problematic substance use, his research is directed at leveraging multimodal assessment approaches (brain, behavior, daily brief measures, and information from electronic health records) to addressing heterogeneity in clinical presentation and outcomes. Research on suicidal behavior focuses on identifying the intersection of distal and proximal risk factors for suicide, also using diverse methods. A common theme to this work is advancing personalized approaches to improve mental health outcomes.
